A new massage therapist in North Raleigh is bringing a touch of the Olympics to her office.

Patty Sabol has opened Metta Unlimited, specializing in Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy, a massage technique that has the therapist use her bare feet and a set of parallel bars to work out kinks and sore muscles.

The technique was developed in Colorado in the mid-1990s to allow greater control with the foot pressure on the back.

Sabol is offering a free 30-minute trial through a downloadable gift certificate on her Web site, www.mettaunlimited.com.

She's a jill-of-a-couple-of-trades. She also can analyze handwriting and perform non-denominational marriage ceremonies; Check the links on her Web site.
