For decades, North Raleigh horse enthusiasts have enjoyed riding at J&H Stables.

But the167-acre ranch has been sold and on Nov. 13, the corral, located at 4822 Ebenezer Church Road, will be closing.

You can get your rocks up to 30 percent off at Land's Jewelers in Tarrymore Square on Capital Boulevard.

The current owners of the Tarrymore Square jewelry store will be selling off merchandise at a discount to make way for a new owner and a new name in early January.

Deals that are available: 30 percent off most diamonds; gold necklaces and bracelets are 50 percent off. There are also assorted watches at half off.

North Hills openings are Vanity, a jewelry and accessories store; Uniquities Mix, the new location for the Cameron Village icon; and the new REI store.

ReTails, a thrift store that uses profits to help low-income families spay or neuter pets, is taking 50 percent off linens and housewares today; a buy one, get one free sale Saturday; and a 50 percent off clothing sale Sunday.

The store, at 1608 North Market Drive, is open from 10 to 6 Friday, 10 to 5 Saturday and 1 to 5 Sunday.
