Capper's Restaurant and Tavern, in the Lassiter at North Hills, is no more. This week the establishment reopened as 115 Midtowne.

The jazz haven closed at the beginning of September for renovations.

Although it still has the same owner, the venue has a new name, a new menu, a new floor plan and a new chef.

The restaurant and bar is open for dinner for the rest of the week and for lunch next week.

The restaurant is located at the intersection of Lassiter Mill and Six Forks roads.

No, they can't turn mice into horses or whip up glass slippers from stray grains of sand. But Your Fairy Godmother, a North Raleigh-based business, does specialize in one-day decorating transformation.

"I can can turn your house into a castle in one day using what you own." boasts business owner Elizabeth Haner.

Your Fairy Godmother is billed as Professional Interior Redesign service. Haner doesn't have any formal training, per se, but she cites years of practical experience.

The idea is to take a day to rearrange a room. The service comes complete with a before-and-after photo book.

You can reach Haner at 616-6369.

The Village Deli, the Cameron Village sandwich shop, is opening later than its scheduled mid-September plan in Wake Forest.

The Village Deli will open in mid-October in The Factory on Main Street in Wake Forest off of U.S. 1.

Also coming is the Triangle-based Armadillo Grill.
