Hopefully in time for football season, there will be a bar and restaurant in Quail Corners shopping center. Replacing the relocated Blinco's, the tentatively named Falls Tap Room is currently renovating the space in the center. According to owner Jim May, the new bar will feature a 45- to 90-tap draft beer system. The menu and atmosphere will be similar to its sister restaurant, the Sawmill Tap Room in the Greystone Village shopping center on Lead Mine Road. May said the Falls River Tap Room name is subject to change before its early fall opening.

Quail Corners is on the corner of Falls of the Neuse and Millbrook roads.
