Raleigh's capacity for hockey gear has grown a couple of jersey sizes.
Two North Raleigh hockey shops are moving into roomier digs in the near future to meet the demand of the Triangle's next double- bladed puck slingers.
* Cool Sports will open today, completing its move from its former home near the Raleigh IcePlex on Capital Boulevard. The new location in Harvest Oaks shopping center will be twice as large as the old store and offer more products.
Harvest Oaks is near the intersection of Six Forks and Strickland roads.

Manager Mike Verbic estimates the move will be completed in the next couple of months for a late October or early November opening.
When asked what prompted the expansion, Verbic jested that the increased interest might have something to do with the Carolina Hurricanes victory.
Or it could be the weather, who knows?
The Factory is on U.S. 1A in Wake Forest, just north of the split with Capital Boulevard.

Getting excited about ice cream means more than screaming for Ariana DeBose, a 15-year-old sophomore at Wake Forest-Rolesville High School.
This week, she beat seven other finalists in New York to win the Cold Stone Creamery's Shake It Up Dance Contest. She performed a three- minute jazz influenced hip-hop dance.
