While the current weather might not scream, "Let's go to the beach," two new sunglasses stores are set to open in November at Crabtree Valley Mall.

* Solstice Sunglass Boutique specializes in high-fashion eyewear. Brands include Gucci, Dior, Ray-Ban, Chanel and Armani, among others.

For more information about Solstice, visit the store's Web site: www.solsticestores.com.

* Also coming to the mall's second floor is Sole Mio Sunglasses. Brands at the chain include Cartier, Chanel, Versace and Prada.

While summer is officially long gone, if we have a white Christmas, the shades could prevent high fashion snow blindness.

Crabtree Valley Mall is at Glenwood Avenue just North of Interstate 440.

There's a new place for you if you're looking for loose-leaf Chinese teas or tea sets from Asia.

ORiEnTspiration is now open in the Falls River Town Center. The 2,400-square-foot space carries several products from China in its gift shop, including decorative fans, dolls, jade items and garden supplies.

In addition to selling packaged tea, the store also has an art gallery and tea room.

Falls River Town Center is at the corner of Durant and Raven Ridge roads.

Wake Forest Florist & Gifts is closing its Wakefield Crossing store, likely by the end of November.

Opened in 2001, the store will be folded into the existing operation in downtown Wake Forest.

The store is a full service florist, floral decorator and also has a gift shop.

The consolidation will prompt a renovation of the Wake Forest store, which is at South White Street at East Sycamore Avenue.
