Specializing in clothes that won't get you sent home from school or work, J. Jill opened last week in Triangle Town Center. The store, which features skirts that start at the ankle and sweaters that wouldn't look out of place on a third grade teacher, opened on the second floor of the shopping mall near Macy's.

The store will be the eighth in the state for the Talbot's-owned chain and the second in Raleigh.

For more information, visit: www.jjill.com.

Triangle Town Center is at the intersection of Capital Boulevard and Interstate 540.
