A new start for NV

We may have spoken too soon when we said NV, the men's clothing store at North Hills, was closing. Yes, it's closed, but it may reopen under a new moniker within the next several weeks.

In other North Hills news, Cinelli's Pizza, the replacement for Andy's, is looking to open sometime next week, but the date may change.

North Hills is at Six Forks Road at Lassiter Mill Road.

Following a location in Triangle Town Center, Bebe will soon open at Crabtree Valley Mall.

The California-based women's clothing store is a mall staple.

There is another Triangle location at the Streets at Southpoint in Durham.

For more information, visit www.bebe.com.

Crabtree Valley Mall is on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh.

Eight in the morning might be early for four-alarm chili, but if you're up that early looking for something spicy, check out the Wake Forest Farmers' Market.

On Sept. 23, the farmers' market will hold a chili cookoff from 8 a.m. to noon.

The first annual cookoff will be a benefit for the Wake Forest Fire Department, which will have a fire truck at the shindig.

Prizes will be provided by BJ's Wholesale Club.

The farmers market is in downtown Wake Forest off Main Street.

For more information on the cookoff, visit www.wakeforestmarket.org.
