A Connecticut health care company is planning a Wal-Mart-sized fitness center in North Raleigh, slated to open by the start of next year. Healthtrax Fitness & Wellness will be part of the 187,000-square-foot American Institute of Healthcare and Fitness.The center will include a full sized lap pool, a women's-only fitness center and a basketball gym.Healthtrax has a preview center set up on the site near the intersection of Lead Mine Road and Forum Drive.
