Hello, North Raleigh readers. As you know by now, we've rolled out another community news section called Midtown Raleigh News and our publication date has changed to Wednesday. That means there are some changes to my News & Notes column.

Make sure you send me information about the cool fund-raisers, projects and programs going on in your schools at least one week in advance.

As before, you can call me or send me an e-mail message about those items.

Also, some schools that were covered in the North Raleigh News will now be highlighted in the Midtown Raleigh News.

But don't worry, we know how important it is for you to keep up-to-date with the happenings at various schools.

I will still do my best to keep you informed about it all through this column.
