Regarding the the Aug. 18 column “ A town without potty”: Thanks to Josh Shaffer for sharing with us the poop about Elm City, a town providing no relief for its residents who want to use the library’s Wi-Fi connection after closing hours. Why not provide two Port-a-Johns, one for the boys and one for the girls? We all know two heads are better than one.

Or maybe they should refer to the potties as Jim rather than John. That way the kids could go to the Jim when the library is closed.
