The first debate between Kay Hagan and Thom Tillis is over. For an election for a senatorial position that will last six years, all House Speaker Thom Tillis could talk about were President Obama-related slights and already disputed and passed bills and positions, such a tired approach and a waste of TV time with a presidential election being two years away.
Sen. Kay Hagan’s enthusiasm for representing North Carolina and her ready answers most often referring back to how education can make the difference in the future of our state and those living in it showed she is a constructive positive force to be reckoned with and deserving of a return to the Senate.
