The two recent TV debates between U.S. Sen. Kay Hagan and House Speaker Thom Tillis remind me of two 6-year-olds arguing in the backyard. They accuse, deny, offer no resolution. Push threatens shove.
It reminds me of some of the sayings by kids like “did so,” “did not” or “my daddy can beat your daddy.” Years from now these kids may be congressional material. Until then, there’s still “am not” and “are, too.” Give me the western channel where they shoot straight!
