After reading the news stories Oct. 11 about gay couples getting married, I asked my wife if she was thinking of divorcing me. She said no. I then asked my kids if our family was still strong. They said yes. Boy, was I relieved!
My 37-year marriage and wonderful family was apparently unharmed by gays and lesbians getting married. Sorry about anyone else’s.
In fact, if the couples I read about have a 10th the joy, meaning and purpose I’ve had in my marriage and with my family, our state will be much the better for it.
