Regarding the Oct. 24 news article “ Backlash against marriage ruling rises as voting starts”: State Rep. Paul Stam and others feel that “religious liberty is under siege.” No one, and especially the laws allowing same-sex marriages, is trying to restrict their religious liberty.
What is under attack is their ability to control my beliefs and personal choice. My religious liberty. My beliefs do not invade on their beliefs, so why should their beliefs invade on mine?
