We are a nation of laws. Our constitution is the starting place, and it ends with your local HOA. Just because everyone wants to drive 70 mph in a 50-mph zone does not make it legal. It takes the agency in charge to make that change based upon safety and other consideration. There are far more Americans who want legal marijuana, but it is still against the law in most states. It takes legislation.
By executive order allowing 5 million illegal immigrants to go ahead of those who respect the law and have been waiting in line is just wrong. To hire 1,000 more government workers to produce new Social Security cards and yet not require payments into the Affordable Care Act are benefits with fewer obligations.
Why not give all those who legally have a dream and believe in our Constitution a green card? Let us not play politics with our citizenship. This proposed behavior by the administration is a means of disrespecting the Constitution.
