The United States is the greatest country ever. Where else can someone lose the popular vote and win the presidency to reach the country’s highest office twice in 16 years? This benefit should be extended to all areas of society.
Had it been in effect in everyday life earlier this year, the state could be celebrating a sixth NCAA basketball tournament championship for North Carolina and the first Super Bowl title for the Carolina Panthers, despite each team coming up short on the scoreboard in points and being beaten by its opponent.
Serious study should be given to the possibility so Americans need not worry if they come in second in job interviews or are rejected by their first choice of college.
