Regarding the photo with the May 19 sports article “UNC baseball faces ‘do or die’ day in play-in ACC tournament game”: I am left with a few questions.
On which part of the field does UNC baseball coach Mike Fox require the nonbelievers to gather? In the dugout away from fawning Christians or do they have to stay in the locker room? Does Fox recruit only Christians and could an agnostic ever hope to wear a UNC jersey?
I notice the picture of the prayer service was taken in front of the scoreboard prior to the game against the University of Virginia, and I can’t help but wonder whether the Cavaliers were praying harder, if at all, because even Fox’s great God Almighty himself couldn’t save the Heels from being swept two weekends in a row.
