Regarding the Nov. 2 editorial “Debates go awry”: Liberals are enjoying ridiculing Republicans for their demands concerning future debates. I agree that they are making fools of themselves by asking for so much, if only because they had to know liberals would use this episode against them.
The only demand that needs to made, really, is that they be asked the same kind of shallow, uninformative questions that were asked in the last Democratic debate. Everybody already knows the liberal talking points, so maybe questions of some substance at all debates, not just Republican debates, would be nice.
My favorite accusation is that they want to be given the questions beforehand. I certainly can’t prove it, but it would simply shock me if that is not exactly what Hillary Clinton does.
