I live in the United Kingdom. The recent coverage of House Bill 2 has led me to see that your state looks beautiful. It has many great destinations, and I would love to visit.
However, the U.K. government has advised trans travelers that your state has laws that will affect me.
President Obama reassures me I will be safe, but I do not feel safe or comfortable given the current laws and rhetoric from politicians. Can Gov. Pat McCrory reassure me, a U.K. transwoman, that North Carolina is a safe place for me to visit?
