In your April 3 article "Chain of failures in probation cases," Robert Guy, the man in charge of the state's probation system, is quoted as saying the system's performance is "a flat-out embarrassment."
I believe the families and loved ones of the deceased victims would find it so much more than embarrassing. I believe it was criminal, and every member of this department from the top down should be held accountable.
