Oprah's religion

Regarding the July 11 Life, etc., article "Oprah 'gospel' worries evangelicals":

I read this article with complete disbelief. The evangelicals now want their "flock" to stop listening to differing viewpoints. They are accusing Oprah of doing what they have been doing: telling people what to and what not to believe in. The hypocrisy of these people is becoming increasingly more blatant and insulting, and every year this seems to get worse and gain in momentum.

We still have freedom of religion in this country, and if you want to belong to a religion and practice self-righteousness, go ahead. Just leave those of us who choose to think for ourselves alone. As for Oprah, she could be doing worse things with her show; give us a break!
