Hi, my name is Bubba Brooks. You might have heard of me. I am the brother of famous country singer Garth Brooks. I made a record about 25 years ago, and three people bought it. I haven't done anything for the past 25 years ('cept drink a lot), so I thought I'd take a ride down to Roanoke Rapids. I heard the politicians there would give me a few million dollars to open a theater. I can get me a band and pretend I am a performer.

I love them there North Carolina small-town politicians. I bet I can convince them that the Lost Colony is somewhere hidden inside their little town.

Funny, huh? No, it isn't. Every man, woman and child who resides in the Roanoke Rapids area should demand the departure of their elected elite. Although I do not live in Roanoke Rapids, I feel for these people. Their politicians are the laughingstock of the world. A comedian could not make up this stuff. Only in the South.
