It is 2008, where here in the United States we take pride in our Constitution where "all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." It is 2008, where Christians recognize, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets" (Matthew 22:37-40).

And yet President Bush's daughter can enjoy all the rights and privileges that marriage to the person she loves can bring while Dick Cheney's daughter cannot. It is 2008, time for equality and love for all Americans.
