I've felt the concrete
As one of the homeless in Raleigh, I found the guest comic "The Knight Life" on June 20 offensive.You don't know the fear of it all. The tension of, "Will my husband or I get in the mission tonight" or "Is it going to rain?" Bad things happen to good people. Most of us don't choose this lifestyle. Life happens. I don't feel safe at night. You worry about, "Am I going to make it overnight without getting robbed or arrested just because I need to sleep?"I thank the church groups that are here to help us because the city doesn't.Donna HallamRaleigh
