Your July 8 package headlined "Property tax bills to deliver bottom line" included this sentence:
"Holly Springs residents have seen massive growth over the past dozen years, thanks in part to the town's location near Cary and access via N.C. 55 to Research Triangle Park."
This statement is preposterous on so many levels.
Why would you assume anyone other than builders would be thankful for massive growth? And to perpetuate the myth that everyone wants to live in Cary is insulting to Holly Springs and every other community in Wake County. For the most part, we're here for state government jobs in Raleigh or tech jobs in RTP, few of which are in Cary -- at least until Cary annexes them.
