April 11 will be the last day to register to vote, update addresses or change party affiliation for the May 6 primary, Wake County officials said.Voter registration forms must be postmarked by or hand-delivered to the Wake County Board of Elections, 337 S. Salisbury St. in Raleigh, by 5 p.m. April 11. Previous notices incorrectly listed the deadline as 5:15 p.m.Locations where county residents can register or obtain mail-in registration forms include the Board of Elections office, public libraries, driver's license offices, public high schools and town halls.Voters registered with a political party must vote in the primary of their affiliated party. Voters who are not affiliated with a political party may vote in the Democratic or Republican primary.Voters can also access an N.C. Voter Registration/Update Form by visiting www.wakegov.com/elections.
