What it means: Voters in this eastern Wake County town, where several planned subdivisions could more than double its population of about 4,600, appear happy with the status quo.

The three incumbents easily won re-election.

"It was really a pretty close race in a way," said Dale Beck, a winning incumbent. "I'm just happy it's over and happy with the results. Everybody's working for the good of Zebulon. I feel real good about that."
