| Members of the General Assembly spend many hours each session at their small desks in the Senate and House chambers. Many add personal touches that reflect their personalities and home districts. Clockwise from top left: Senator Jeanne Hopkins Lucas always has fresh-cut flowers on her desk. Rep. Mitchell Setzer has miniature patrol cars in front of a model of Catawba County Courthouse.
