Laura Bush to visit Sandburg home

FLAT ROCK - The White House says first lady Laura Bush is coming to North Carolina to visit the Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site in Flat Rock.

The National Park Foundation has said it plans to present a $50,000 grant to the historic site Monday to expand the park's junior ranger and youth education programs. Laura Bush will be at the site Monday afternoon.
