Mission wants to meet families' school needs

RALEIGH - The Helping Hand Mission is seeking donations to help families in need of back-to-school supplies. Organizers say they particularly need backpacks, pencils, pens, folders, calculators, notebooks and paper.

Donations can be made at the following locations: 623 Rock Quarry Road and 501 New Bern Ave. in Raleigh, and 9 S. Pine St. in Wendell.
