4 suspects arrested in two robberies

DURHAM - Police arrested four suspects in back-to-back robberies Wednesday evening at the Hardee's restaurant on Duke Street and the Anointed Creations salon on East Geer Street.

Police stopped a burgundy Saturn on Dowd Street at Alston Avenue after the robbery at the salon. Arrested were John Mclaurin, 26, of 505 Dowd St.; Kenyeatta Norwood, 24, of 203 Southerland St.; Robert L. Harris, 19, of 306 Wake Place; and a male juvenile whose name was not released.

The Hardee's robbery occurred at 6:56 p.m., and the robbery at Anointed Creations followed at 7:18 p.m., according to a news release issued Thursday by police.

Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to call Investigator T. Ochman at 560-4440, ext. 289, or Crime Stoppers at 683-1200.
