Mahammad Naseer Rana, a visitor from Pakistan, readies for Friday afternoon prayer in a conference room at Duke University Hospital. Duke recently became the second university in the nation to hire a full-time Muslim chaplain, and other schools -- including Princeton University, Yale University, University of Pennsylvania and Brown University -- have quickly followed suit. 'The need is not only for Muslim students, it's for the whole campus,' says Abdullah Antepli, who was hired by Duke to fill the chaplain position. 'Duke deserves a lot of applause for being that visionary.'
