ECU sweeps NCCU in volleyball

East Carolina took advantage of host N.C. Central's slow start to win a nonconference volleyball match 25-18, 25-10, 25-19 in Durham.

East Carolina (4-0) was led by Melissa Zentner, who pounded out 10 kills. Hanna Fenker had match-highs of 17 assists and eight digs.

NCCU (0-4) was led by Avaniki Campbell's six kills.

N.C. STATE CHANGES WOMEN'S SOCCER TIMES: Today's game times in the N.C. State/Residence Inn North Women's Soccer Tournament at the N.C. State Soccer Stadium have changed because of expected wet weather.

UNC-Greensboro and Stetson will play at 1 p.m., and Virginia Commonwealth and the Wolfpack follow at 4 p.m.

Sunday's times are unchanged. The Pack takes on Stetson at 1 p.m., and UNCG and VCU play at 3:30.

Parking is available in the parking deck next to Reynolds Coliseum.
