Richard S. Johnson birdied three of his last four holes to shoot a 6-under-par 64 Sunday and win the U.S. Bank Championship for his first PGA Tour victory.

Johnson finished at 16-under 264 on the 6,759-yard Brown Deer Park Golf Course in Milwaukee. He is the sixth golfer from Sweden to win on tour and seventh first-time winner this season.

Johnson, the first-round leader, sank a birdie putt of 12 feet on the par-4 17th to break a tie with Ken Duke at 14 under. He then birdied the par-5 18th from less than 2 feet.

He needed that final birdie because Duke, playing in his threesome, also birdied the hole for a 65 to finish second at 15 under.

ALSO SUNDAY

STATE FARM CLASSIC: Second-year LPGA golfer Ji Young Oh gained her first victory, sinking a 6-inch putt for par to win a playoff over rookie Yani Tseng in Springfield, Ill.

Oh (69) and Tseng (72) finished regulation at 18 under par.

Tseng, the leader coming into Sunday, chipped her third shot over the green and into the rough, then pitched to about 6 feet.

But Oh's third shot, from just inside the rough, set up her tap-in.

3M CHAMPIONSHIP: R.W. Eaks ran away with the Champions Tour event in Blaine, Minn., posting the lowest score in the tournament's 16-year history.

Eaks shot a closing 7-under 65 to finish at 193, four shots better than Ed Dougherty's 197 in 2000. Gary Hallberg and Bernhard Langer tied for second at 199.

PRICE CUTTER CHARITY CHAMPIONSHIP: Reigning U.S. Amateur champion Colt Knost of Dallas shot a closing 10-under 62 to win the Nationwide Tour event in Springfield, Mo., by four shots over Raleigh's Webb Simpson.

Knost finished at 26-under 262.

Simpson, who played at Wake Forest, shot a 65 for a 266 in his Nationwide Tour debut.

WOMEN'S NORTH AND SOUTH AMATEUR: Reigning Australian amateur champion Kristie Smith, who plans to turn pro soon, topped off her amateur career by defeating Georgetown's Chelsea Curtis 8-and-7 on Pinehurst No. 2.
