The Carolina RailHawks saw their United Soccer Leagues First Division playoff hopes take a hit as they were defeated by the Montreal Impact 2-0 after enduring a two-hour lightning delay late Saturday in Cary.

Impact newcomer Peter Byers scored both goals despite his team being a man down for most of the match. Nevio Pizzolito and Santiago Fusilier were both ejected from the match in the 14th and 76th minute, respectively.

The RailHawks host the Charleston Battery at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets for the match may be purchased by visiting the LGFCU Box Office, by calling (919) 859-5425, by going to a Ticketmaster outlet or by visiting www.carolinarailhawks.com.
