DAYTON, OHIO - China Arnold, 28, was convicted Friday of killing her month-old daughter Paris Talley in 2005 by burning her in a microwave oven. Jurors rejected defense claims that someone else was responsible.

China Arnold, 28, could be sentenced to death.

Prosecutors said Arnold put her baby in the microwave oven and cooked her to death after a fight with her boyfriend. Her cellmate testified she said she did it because she was afraid her boyfriend would leave her if he found out the child wasn't his.
