All-star lineup to present awards

closeN.C. Theatre has called on stellar company alumni to present the new Capital Awards for Wake County high school musicals.
Sharon Lawrence, Terrence Mann and Lauren Kennedy, along with Raleigh Mayor Charles Meeker, will present the awards May 21 in Memorial Auditorium. The ceremony starts at 7 p.m., and tickets are $15. Call 831-6950.
The alumni have Broadway, film and television credits. Speaking of the latter, you can watch Lawrence in her latest series, "Hidden Palms," premiering May 30 on the CW.
