RALEIGH -- Adoptive families will gather today to help raise money for orphans in Russia.
The Raleigh-based Frank Adoption Center is holding "For Love of a Child," a benefit fundraiser from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Wake County Shriner's Club, 6015 Lead Mine Road in Raleigh.
More than 150 people are expected to attend, including many adoptive families. The center expects to raise more than $5,000 to help improve orphanage conditions in regions of Russia.
