NOTEWORTHY: Weber's filing in the 3rd District ensures a Democratic primary between him and Marshall Adame of Jacksonville. The incumbent, Walter Jones, already has a challenger on the GOP side, Joe McLaughlin.

NOTEWORTHY: Staley is a Moncure podiatrist. His entry creates a Democratic primary in the U.S. Senate race. Staley has not previously held elected office.
