According to The N&O, Gov. Mike Easley asked the N.C. Attorney General's Office to seek clarification on illegal immigrants from the federal government. Has our governor not read the 10th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America, which reads:

"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

I considered e-mailing this message to Easley; however, I suspected that such an e-mail would be deleted!
