In response to the June 30 People's Forum letter captioned "Keeping my check," the Fuquay-Varina Food Pantry feeds between 370 and 400 families every month. Contrary to the letter-writer's assertion, only 7.5 percent of the families are Hispanic.

If the writer would like to stop by on a Tuesday or Thursday she will find out for herself our client profile, and since we are all volunteers we can always use some extra help.
