Regarding the June 30 article "U.S. denies covert ops story":

I wonder whether the Democratic Party leadership will show the same concern and level of enthusiasm to find out who leaked the story that the U.S. may be conducting covert actions against the Iranian regime as it did in condemning Scooter Libby for revealing the identity of a former field agent with the CIA married to a self-promoting former State Department appointee. After all, revealing covert actions against a declared enemy of the United States with possible nuclear weapon capabilities cannot come close to the importance of embarrassing the Bush administration.
