- A front-page graphic Monday outlining tax rates for Wake County towns did not include county fire tax charges for the town of Wendell. In 2007, property in Wendell was taxed $1,310 per $100,000 of value. In 2008, property will be taxed at $1,100 per $100,000 of value.
