Not so deep

The writer of the Aug. 21 letter "Pride and joy" gushed over the "depth and complexity" of Barack Obama's thinking and knowledge.

In a recent televised presidential debate, Obama was asked a question about abortion and the value of human life. He said he couldn't answer such a theological and scientific question as it was above his pay grade.

Human life begins at conception. Everyone taught the "facts of life" knows this. Anyone who has ever bought a pack of condoms knows when life begins.

So much for for Barack Obama's "depth and complexity" of thought!
