You just have to laugh! Bev Perdue has the nerve to promise (news item, Oct. 10) that she'll be "so available" to the press and public that we'll get tired of her -- after she skips out for the second time on her only statewide televised debates with Pat McCrory.

Perdue just blew her chance to be open with me. For the first time in my life I'll be voting for a Republican -- Pat McCrory.

I'm still voting for Barack Obama. Go figure.
