Truckers' plight

I have one thing I would like to ask all those running for president of our great country and for North Carolina offices. I hear all they want to do for North Carolina, but nothing about the hundreds of independent North Carolina truck drivers forced to park their trucks due to the outrageous fuel prices. The logging industry is one of our state's biggest, but I as well as hundreds more are being put out of work. Hundreds have lost almost everything due to high fuel prices.

Alternative fuels are a must, but what about now, as many of us independent truckers are losing everything? Our current government, local, state and federal, does not care what happens to truckers. We are the heartbeat of this country. We supply everything to the people.
