RALEIGH - Two Triangle businesses were sued in separate lawsuits by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission on Tuesday.

The EEOC charged Yancy's Inc., the operator of the now-shuttered downtown Raleigh restaurant, with subjecting female employees to unwanted sexual comments, offensive touching and other sexually offensive conduct by a manager and an owner. The number of employees affected is unknown.

The agency also charged Talbert Building Supply of Durham with racial harassment of a black employee from March 2005 to February 2007.
