CHAPEL HILL - Chapel Hill Police say a woman killed by a bus last week was listening to an iPod when the accident occurred on Manning Drive near UNC Hospitals last week, police said. No charges will be filed against the bus driver.

"Lisa Carolyn Moran was found to have contributed to the collision by failing to yield to traffic," police officials said Tuesday.

The investigating officer concluded that Moran lost her footing, causing her to eventually slide under the bus.

Moran, a third-year student in law and economics at Glasgow University, came to Chapel Hill in January to spend a semester at the UNC School of Law.
