The U.S. Small Business Administration named the owner of a Raleigh medical device company N.C. Exporter of the Year for 2014.
We are very happy to receive such prestigious recognition, said Freddy Cannady, who started Vesocclude Medical in 2005 after he lost his job to outsourcing overseas, in a statement.
Vesocclude is a medical device manufacturer that specializes in the advanced development and production of products used in ligation, a surgical procedure of closing off a blood vessel, duct or tube in the body by using a ligature or clip.
